About
DAVID UNGER
David Unger’s unique style of music came together in the summer of 2007. Fresh off the heels of winning the award for “best song” in the *48-hour film Festival, David Unger decided to start writing his first solo album. “Stirring Up The Echoes” is a pop/rock tour de force that any fan of popular music is sure to enjoy. Since it’s release it has earned a slot on the Top 40 Main Chart and is in heavy rotation on radio stations around the country. At it’s conception, David Unger’s influences ranged from the Foo Fighters, Genesis, Beach Boys, and of course the Beatles inspired the melodic vibe that is contained in this latest musical endeavor.
David Unger’s musical journey started at age 5. He is a self-taught musician with the ability to distinguish perfect pitch. David plays the piano, guitar, bass, drums, and sings. He further developed these skills from years of playing with various artists, and bands. As his music matured, he ventured on to build his home studio where to date he writes, records, and engineers all of his music.
Unger’s obsession for sound, and music led him to the discovery of Expression College for Digital Arts where he is presently studying to become a Sound Engineer. He is a seasoned performer who enjoys playing in various venues across the Bay area. In his off hours, he continues to write, create, and fine-tune his technical and musical skills. Most recently, David had a song placed on the hit cable comedy series; It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
*The category of “best song” was created for David Unger, because the judges loved his song.
